[HUCK] Spring League update!

Registration: With our first games just two weeks away we have 67 players registered (53 men, 14 women) and the leadership group appreciates the strong response to our first spring league adventure. Unfortunately we can only roster 64 players with priority given to women, followed by men who baggage with women, then men by date of registration. Anyone who isn't rostered will have the option of an immediate refund or to be waitlisted with spots available as attendance or injury issues pop up. Registration will be closed on Friday April 10th and we still have spots available for women, or men who baggage with a woman, but everyone else who registers going forward will be waitlisted.

Gender Ratio: While our official policy will remain the team with the fewest number of women determines the ratio, not offense decides, we're close to having four women per team and we'd love to see 5-2 become the regular format of our spring league games. 

Wing Night: To celebrate our first spring league HUCK will be providing wings at The Bar after the first week's games in addition to pizza and salad.

[HUCK] Spring League!

HUCK!

Registration for Spring League is now open offering eight weeks of full field 7 vs. 7 ultimate on Tuesday nights for just $40 ($60 including USAU if applicable). Games start at 6:15pm and will be played on the soccer field behind the Kellogg Martin Middle School in Newington from 4/14 through 6/2. As with our other leagues HUCK will be providing post game food at The Bar which is just minutes away from the fields. Space for this league is limited to 64 spots (4 teams) and we expect to cap male registrations with priority given to men who baggage with women.

Because our spring league games are played at a school facility we will be strictly enforcing bans on alcohol, drugs, and pets. As with all HUCK events we expect all participants to play with spirit of the game in mind as the league places an emphasis on fostering a welcoming environment for players of all ability levels. Should weather or field conditions be an issue the board will make an announcement by 4:30pm if games will not be played.

[HUCK] Fall League Teams and Schedule have been posted

Dear HUCK,

Teams and the schedule have been posted to the website. Games will be 6 vs. 6 sub on the fly ultimate with the team having the fewest number of women determining the gender ratio. Please stay off the turf until youth football has exited the field, warmups start at 8:15pm with games commencing at 8:30pm and ending at 9:30pm. As with all HUCK events we place a significant emphasis on spirit of the game and safe play and the leadership group expects all participants to conduct themselves accordingly. The league will also be providing food at The Bar after games are over.

[HUCK] Fall League registration update

Dear HUCK,

Registration for Fall League will be closed on Friday at midnight but we still have spots remaining especially for women or men who baggage with women (male registration is now waitlist only). For just $40 (plus $20 for USAU insurance if applicable) you get eight weeks (Tuesdays 8:30pm - 9:30pm running 9/9 - 10/28) of sub on the fly ultimate under the lights of Clem Lemire field in Newington. HUCK also provides food for league participants at The Bar after games are over.

[HUCK] Fall League 2025: Halloween Monsters

Dear HUCK,

Registration for HUCK Fall League is now open! For just $40 ($20 for USAU membership if applicable) you get eight weeks (9/9 - 10/28) of ultimate under the lights on Tuesday nights in Newington plus club provided food at The Bar after games are over.

Please note we will be capping male registration at 60 players with priority being given to men who are baggaged (we added a field on the registration form) with women. We are taking these steps as we target a 4:2 gender ratio while preserving adequate playing time for male participants. Please note gender ratio will still be determined by the team with the fewest number of women and we are not guaranteeing a set ratio at this time.
